As our products are made from natural leather, it is important to bear in mind that there may be imperfections in some areas of the leather. Usage and the time can also have an effect on the leather and metal fittings. For this reason, it is advisable to store the products in the cotton bag that is included in our packaging. All our fittings & buckles have been gold or silver plated (depending on the product) and have a reinforced lacquer to maintain the plating for a long time. However, it is normal for the plating to disappear over time due to usage and friction of the product as well as other conditions that can alter the plating such as the pH of each person's skin.
